JPJ is led by me, Jack. I'm a community organiser and operations manager in nature-based wellbeing initiatives. I've coordinated widescale government funded Green Social Prescribing programmes, as well as managed and delivered local community initiatives that support community and individual health and wellbeing. I've been doing this in a range of settings; community allotments and gardens, outdoor education sites, and therapy gardens. I've led the creation of such spaces, and delivered projects in them, that have supported the mental health & wellbeing of individuals and groups.
I have a diverse background, in Clinical Psychology, project management, operations management, community health creation, and Green Social Prescribing. My approach often draws upon my experience in all these areas to deliver meaningful and sustainable change. Within nature-based wellbeing initiatives I'm trained in and informed by the Nature Well approach, an evidence based method of embedding nature connection into wellbeing and therapeutic practices.
My approach to creating positive change is rooted in meaningful collaboration. I work with partners across a wide range of sectors and systems, recognising that shared aims often bring shared benefits. By aligning our efforts, we can unlock the social, wellbeing, and environmental value of green health projects — from better health outcomes and skills development, to stronger community connections and nature recovery. It’s through building and navigating these relationships that lasting value is created.
I started JPJ because I realised that for green space projects to keep delivering meaningful change, they need more than just good intentions - they need to be managed well. Without ongoing support, spaces risk losing momentum, funding, and community connection. With the right management, however, they can continue to grow, maintain strong relationships, attract diverse funding, expand opportunities for health and wellbeing, and remain valued assets for local communities. My aim is to help ensure that these projects don’t just start well, but keep thriving in the long term.
